Please read this page in its entirety before scheduling your make-up class.
- Registration for make-up classes is first-come first-serve. You need not wait till after the missed class to schedule a make-up class.
- Make-ups can be scheduled for up to four missed classes per student in the 8 or 12 week session.
- A make-up class can be scheduled for any available date from the options. It does not have to be in the same week as the missed class.
- Make-up class is one hour long and for a completely missed class, not for joining a class late or leaving early.
- There is no make-up for a missed make-up class. Make-up class cannot be carried forward to a future session.
How to schedule the make-up class:
- Click on the button at the bottom of this page. This will take you to the SignupGenius signup page.
- Choose a make-up class time that works for you and click on “Submit and Sign Up.”
- The site will then ask for the parent’s name, email address, date of missed class, and student’s name.
- You will receive a confirmation email.
How to edit/delete a scheduled make-up class in SignupGenius:
- Click on “Change Your Signup.”
- You can email yourself an email link or use your SignUpGenius account if you have one.
- You can edit/delete your signup up to twenty-four hours before the chosen make-up class.
- Due to the volume of students requesting make-up classes, EVComputing will not be able to manually edit/update your sign-up.
No-shows and not rescheduling make-up class in time:
- If you do not edit/delete your signup in time, it will remain in the system.
No edits/deletes allowed twenty-four hours prior to make-up class. - A scheduled make-up class will count as a class whether or not the student is present in the make-up class.
- There is no make-up for a missed make-up class.
Scheduling a make-up for a missed class is optional. In lieu of it or in addition to it, the student can access the course, the class material, and suggested homework in the online course portal. Help for concepts or homework exercises is available seven days of the week via email.
