EVComputing provides tech instruction through camps and workshops geared toward children in 5th grade and up. Individual attention to each student’s learning style, interest level, and aptitude make EVComputing unique.
Established in 2014, EVComputing started off offering summer camps. After the success of the camps that were filled to capacity, EVComputing began providing instruction year-round and covering various topics.
Our curriculum covers programming, mobile app development, robotics and computer tech classes. Camps and workshops include Python Programming, Java Programming, Mobile App Development, Game Design, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
This curriculum, the assigned homework, and instruction are adjusted to suit the student’s needs and parents’ goals.
Trial Class
The best way to decide which class, topic or level is a good fit for the student is to schedule a Trial Class where we can explore your child’s interests and any existing programming experience. The Trial Class is also a great way to get all your questions answered and receive customized suggestions on how to start the student’s journey in the exciting world of tech and programming.
Fatima developed her diverse skills in computer science while working as an engineer in the software industry in India and in Silicon Valley. After many years of gaining firsthand experience, she moved into programming education. Her journey as a teacher began when she could not find local classes for her daughter. To fill the void, she began offering courses not only to her daughter, but also to other young learners in the area.
Fatima has taught in the local school’s Math Olympiad classes and helped bring the Science Olympiad program to the local middle school. In addition to teaching programming, Fatima has coached and mentored teams for FLL Robotics and the Technovation Challenge App Development competitions. She has also coordinated and conducted coding classes at Santa Clara County Library locations.
Fatima lives in San Jose and has called the SFO bay area home for over twenty-five years. When she is not teaching, she can be found editing family videos, trying new recipes or biking down to Morgan Hill.
