What our Students & Parents say about our classes
My daughter has been at EVComputing for almost a year and loves it. She has enjoyed learning new concepts and programming. She explored with Raspberry Pi the last session and is super excited to build on new ideas.
My Son attended Robotics camp, Python Beginner’s camp and Raspberry Pi camp sessions under Mrs.Fatima Dash.
He loved all the three sessions offered by EVCOmputing.
Introducing programming concepts to a 5th grader is challenging. However, Fatima knows how to teach various programming concepts and make these kids do python scripting at the end of the camp.
I saw a big difference in my son’s programming skills from his first Python beginner camp to his python programming skills with Raspberry Pi camp. He is more confident in doing the home work with minimal supervision.
She would challenge kids with her homework assignments. I would highly recommend the camps that are offered by EVComputing.
My daughter loved your App Development camp. It was a wonderful experience for her.
My son thoroughly enjoyed going to the camp. Enjoyment aside, he also learned the basics of Python and Mobile App development, and in fact built a few of his own applications at home after the camp. I think this has given him a good base to build on.
I liked everything in the class. I learned everything in Python. Everything was thought well and it was fun. I will surely do continue to explore programing. In my opinion, I do think that Programing is cool! I would suggest you give lots of homework to do (as much as they give at schools) so they have a better experience with programing. I want you to start classes where you get to make your own electronic (if it is possible). I would like to join in again for Python Classes and other Programing Classes with you at EVComputing! P.S: Are 4th graders allowed to join? I have a sibling in that grade and she could be interested.
EV Computing is the best thing that happened to my son. Mrs. Dash’s style of teaching and the coursework got my son hooked on programming. Is he a Master Programmer now? No, certainly not but it sparked the interest in him and he has a good grounding in the basics. Mrs. Dash had held a lot of ‘Hour of Code’ classes to familiarise students on a plethora of subjects like robot programming, Java, Python, Minecraft modding and raspberry pi.
In my son’s words “It is very good. The teacher is very patient with us students and she doesn’t force us to do anything. If you join EVC, you will have a really fun time!!!”
I didn’t think Robotics could be so cool, Mrs.Dash! I am even taking it as an elective in school next year (Aug).
My son keeps asking me every week on when the classes will start. Thank you again for instilling the ‘coding’ fun in him.
